Hello and welcome to my fotopic site. The site concentrates mainly on the South Wales area and the South West. However you will also find some pictures from further afield. The pictures date from 1990 to the present day. Older pictures are scanned from prints and slides. Digital images vary in quality from my first venture with a polaroid compact camera, then a Sony digital compact (still in use for station shots) and more recently right up to date with a Canon SLR digital. I hope you enjoy looking at the pics and come back again soon as the site is regularly updated at least once a week.

07/01/2010 - A couple of frosty shots around Pyle and Bridgend. Not much snow here :-(
A few pictures of 37218 and 37602 top and tailing the Serco test train around the Bristol and Severn Tunnel area plus 37610 and 37601 on a flask train and 97302 & 97303 at Shrewsbury.
Pictures of the Class 60's throughout 2009. Highlights include Mainline livery 60011 on the Robeston to Westerleigh tanks tackling Stormy Bank and 60074 on a Margam to Llanwern steel working at Pyle.
On the weekend of 12th and 13th September the South Wales Mainline was closed in order to undertake engineering work at Llangewydd and Stormy. As a result a number of steel trains were diverted to run via Tondu.
